The trust has this afternoon released a document to all staff implying it was shared with UNISON on 9th May. This is not the case.

There are substantial differences between the document shared with UNISON and the document released today – perhaps this was an oversight on management side, but we feel staff should read the actual document shared with UNISON, and not an edited version.

You can read the actual document released to UNISON here: Proposal 09_05_16-3

After sending our ballot notification to the trust on Monday morning, the meeting planned with the Chief Executive for today has been cancelled at short notice, which is disappointing. If the trust is trying to do all it can to resolve this issue, cancelling meetings probably wont help.

As well as sending our ballot notice to the trust, UNISON has approached ACAS for assistance and meetings are set up with the trust early next week.

We sincerely hope the trust will approach these meetings in a more genuine and honest manner.
